Cats are to Turkey what Pigeons are to New York. Often reluctant photography subjects, do not be surprised to find them closing their eyes upon spotting a camera. It seems to me that they only keep their eyes open long enough to confirm that I am not indeed pulling a kitty snack out of my bag. This dignified looking feline was photographed basking along the streets of Istanbul.
