I learn that there's something satisfying about sitting somewhere I've never been to before, or eating at restaurants alone and not being forced to engage myself in shallow conversations about things that do not concern me, anyway. I learn to appreciate going to the cinema and being able to watch whatever I want because no one's with me to argue or share my popcorn with.
I guess I just learned to love the company of myself. Not that I'm not good with people because I am, and I enjoy their company, too. It's just that sometimes, I find it fulfilling doing things on my own and not having to rely on others to be happy."
