( #1/1 Editions | IG: @Sanzeiphotography | Twitter: Sanzei333 ) Rakim is one half of golden age hip hop duo Eric B. & Rakim, he is widely regarded as one of the most influential MCs of all time. ― In 2007 I was blessed with the chance to see Rakim perform on his birthday at The Revolution in Fort Lauderdale. I caught this image just feet from "The God MC" with a low pixel camera with no low light capabilities. (Photo with admission ticket) Not bad for 2007. Photo Portfolio: www.sanzeiphotography.com ― Favorite Rakim bars… 1) I start to think, and then I sink Into the paper like I was ink When I'm writing, I'm trapped in between the lines I escape when I finish the rhyme. 2) Hip-Hop's embedded, before I said I wouldn't let it But me and the microphone is still magnetic Straight off the top, I knew I'd be forced to rock Dance floors just stop, the spot's scorchin hot. 3)Teach the youth to speak the truth, show them what peace can do.
