When she is not working she spends a lot of time reading books.
Sayuri looks strong and confident and often people will think she is cold and distant. Sayuri knows this very well because she puts a lot of effort into keeping a strong appearance and personality, but it´s just protection she has built over the years.
Because Sayuri is too sensitive and vulnerable, and she was hurt often by others when she was young, and she experienced bullying as a student.
So after graduating, she decided to become independent and strong, and that's why she moved to Okinawa, where she lives far from her past.
Now, she looks strong and confident in front of everyone and, but hiding her sensitive and vulnerable nature has a cost, and often in her studio, she cries for no reason meanwhile she is drawing in front of the sea.
