Hotaru is a "Tsuppari" (ツッパリ)! An old word used for young rebels and delinquents.
Hotaru would have liked to live her youth in the 80s when in Japan students gangs proliferated creating a unique and violent culture in the country.
As a child, Hotaru was a very calm girl, with a good and affectionate attitude. But as she grew up she began to change a lot, so much so that her parents could not believe it.
Hotaru entered the Judo group of her school and became the captain, she used to fight with the older boys from other classes and faced the teachers often
However, despite her attitude, she was very popular with boys and girls.
Hotaru dropped early out of school and now roams Tokyo nights in Roppongi, Hotaru likes to drink and fight, and if one day you are lucky enough to meet her, she may punch you in the nose.
