  • (LIMITED SERIES 2 of 5 : "UP-CLOSE KIDS") ~ A bored Flowerkid stares into space as his eyes glaze over and he loses touch with his surroundings. Someone WAS talking to him, but now it's just muffled murmurs coming from a thousand miles away, as he becomes even more dissociated and zoned out of the conversation.

    Originally drawn in 2015 with sharpies and watercolor on sketchbook paper by RenPenCreations.

    "UP-CLOSE KIDS" is a series of Flowerkid portrait illustrations that are up close and personal, larger drawings with more focus on the Flowerkid's face and less on his body, using vibrant color layering techniques with marker ink.
